We’re thrilled to welcome Isabelle Pardinas as the newest coach and personal trainer at 6S! With her extensive background in sports and a person-centered approach to fitness, Isabelle is ready to help you achieve your goals—whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a beginner.
Before 6S: What Was Isabelle Up To?
Before joining the 6S team, Isabelle was already making a name for herself in the world of sports and fitness. She was actively involved in the women’s contact-flag football team at York University while pursuing her degree in Kinesiology & Athletic Therapy. Her passion for sports didn’t stop there—she spent two years coaching varsity girls’ flag football at a high school, specializing in skill positions, helping young athletes elevate their game.
In addition, Isabelle currently plays on a women’s touch football team under Touch Football Ontario, engaging in a strong community of athletes with both men’s and women’s divisions. She’s a true example of how to stay involved in fitness both as an athlete and as a coach.
Isabelle’s Hobbies Outside the Gym
When she’s not coaching, Isabelle enjoys a variety of activities:
- Sports: NFL and NBA fan, always tuned in during the season.
- Music: Loves attending live concerts, especially hip-hop, RnB, and rap.
- Cooking: Passionate about experimenting with different cuisines.
- Outdoor Activities: Football, snowboarding, bouldering, and even starting to pick up golf.
How Did Isabelle Get Into Personal Training?
Isabelle’s journey into personal training started with her studies in Kinesiology & Athletic Therapy, where she discovered her passion for working closely with individuals to improve their movement and well-being. During her placements as an athletic therapist, she got hands-on experience with 1-on-1 training, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
As she gained more experience, Isabelle saw the importance of prehab strategies—proactive measures to prevent injury and improve performance. This sparked her interest in continuing to help people not only recover but also stay strong and healthy for the long term.
What she loves most about personal training is being able to create individualized programs that are tailored to each client’s needs and goals. Whether it’s improving strength, mobility, or overall wellness, she loves making fitness a sustainable part of her clients’ everyday lives.
“I love the person-centered approach in personal training, where each program is customized to fit the individual,” Isabelle says. “It’s all about helping people live healthier lives, so they have the freedom to do the activities they enjoy and feel confident doing them.”
