Personal Training Athlete of the Month: Cindy

Cindy is one of our incredible Pesonal Training members, working with Coach Alysha on a personalized program towards her fitness and health goals!

Why did you start personal training? 

Like many of us, the pandemic affected my fitness.  I wanted to work with a trained professional on specific goals (barbell work, work towards an unassisted pull up, develop my posterior chain).  I also wanted to support a local business and my chiropractor, Dr. Paul Oh, had great things to say about 6S.

How long have you been doing Personal Training at 6S? 

I started personal training sessions with Alysha Coughler at end of September 2021. 

A little more about Cindy……..

What is one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?

Two things – I’m really funny and I swear a lot.

What book are you reading right now? 

The Volumetrics Eating Plan (I decided to tell the truth rather than pick a meaningful book title du jour).

At which store would you like to max-out your credit card? 

I would max out my credit card on traveling.

What’s the strangest talent you have? 

Give me a word and I will say/spell it backwards without skipping a beat.

From her Coach Alysha: “Cindy from the get go has been driven and focused on her goals. No matter what is thrown at her she takes it as a challenge. She’s consistently doing something to push herself one step closer to her goals. Working towards her first pull up after already getting a handstand kick up and becoming more comfortable with barbell work.”

Cindy has been making amazing progress and continues to inspire all the Coaches here at 6S with her hard work, dedication, and continual progress.

We are so lucky to have Cindy’s postive energy and admirable work ethic here at 6S and we can’t wait to see her continue to reach her goals!
