Can you believe we are entering September already!?

With summer slowly coming to an end, it is time to review your goals for the next few months so you have a solid plan in place to continue to see progress. Plus, we all know that with less patio dinners and summer travel, we all have more time to really hone in on our own fitness and nutrition. Remember that summer bodies are made in the winter (and the kitchen) 😉 

This month, in our 6SFit group classes, we are going to continue and wrap up our deadlift, chest and triceps, and clean complex cycles, culminating in new 3RM deadlift and 3RM hang power clean tests.

NEW this month will be:

  • a higher volume BACK SQUAT cycle
  • pause snatch pulls,

to build fundamental leg and core strength and to focus on our olympic lifting positioning.

Near the end of the month we will enter a split jerk cycle, focusing on technique and footwork first and then working to build in load. 

You can expect well-balanced higher intensity pieces throughout the month to continue improving anaerobic and aerobic endurance and to improve body composition. You will face some re-tests and some new pieces, so make sure you recover well and come to each workout ready (and fueled properly) to maximize your output and success.
