Meet Coach Kyle

We are so excited to welcome Coach Kyle to the 6S team!

Kyle has been involved in sports since a young age, and has been a Coach for over 3 years. As an active and avid athlete, Kyle emobodies our values here at 6S.

Kyle embraces our focus on building a strong and supportive community, with a side of fun and fitness!

Through team sports experience, coaching experience, and a dedication to continuous improvement, we know Kyle will be a wonderful and inspirational asset to our Coaching team.

Hello 🙂 My name is Kyle, new to 6S I thought I would tell you a bit about myself.

I grew up in Georgetown, Ontario and from a young age I’ve been heavily involved in physical activity and sports.

I grew up playing Hockey in the winters and Baseball in the summers with a bit of Golf sprinkled in there every so often (I’ve grown to love the sport more over time).

Growing up I had no idea what kind of journey I wanted to take in terms of my professional career, I went to school originally for Video Game Design and Development as aside from working out, I love a good gaming veg sesh.

I ended up graduating with a Degree in User Experience Design and a minor in Leadership from Wilfrid Laurier University.

After a short stint as a User Experience Analyst I ended up pivoting into the world of Securitization and now currently work as an Analyst for a mortgage software company.

I moved to Toronto over 3 years ago for work and started coaching Crossfit shortly after.

I started Crossfit during the early stages of the Pandemic and fell absolutely in love. I coach at 2 other gyms in the city and grow even more in love with the sport of Crossfit each day.

My specialty is gymnastics movements and a heavy Oly lift. Excited to join the 6S community and share my knowledge anyway I can.

In my spare time when I’m not working, I play in the citys LGBTQ leagues for Hockey in the Winters and Football in the summers.

My current goal with Crossfit is to compete at a higher level and always improve upon my lifts!
